The table indicates the average amount of time per day that men and women in the UK spend on regular activities.

Overall, both genders spend most of their time sleeping and enjoying all forms of entertainment. It is noticeable that men use their spare time for entertaining more than women, except for social life, entertainment/culture and reading. There is also a difference between outdoor and indoor activities spent by males and females.

On average, men in The United Kingdom sleep around 8 hours every day, while time for all leisure activities is used for approximately 5 hours, however, nearly 3 hours is spent on watching TV/DVD and listening to radio/music, and only 13 minutes for playing sports. Also, almost 4 hours for working and studying are arranged, roughly 3 hours spent on both doing chores and travelling.

Besides, housework and hobby are both prioritized activities of women, apart from sleeping, at 3 and almost 5 hours respectively. Other than that, they also spend the same amount of time on workplaces/schools and gadgets at around 2.30 hours. Only 7 minutes on average are spent on sports.
