Please help me makes these 5 sentences natural?

Could you please help me correct these 5 sentences please?

1 I need to get my pants tailored to fit properly./ The suit is tailored to fit my body.

2 If you could write up an example letter, I'll then edit the letter to my liking. (sounds off)

3 The worse thing would be if I dropped it/would be to drop it.

4 Place the slices of bread upright in the basket so to be able to put in as many as possible. (how to say naturally?)

5 If I win as many as I lose, I won't lose any money.

Thank you
