Please help me make 2 sentences natural

Can you please help me make these 2 sentences natural even if it means rewording them?

1 You say I don't communicate with you anymore, but I was never a big communicator. I haven't changed in that respect/area. It's you who's stopped communicating with me.

2 The hotel is closing down for renovations and since we are no longer going to be a 3 star hotel when we reopen but a 4 star, our prices are going to change accordingly.
