When you hear or mention the word “technology,” most people (like I) think about computers (PC). What is a PC? I would define a pc as a class of computers that fits on desktops and are use in homes and offices. I will elaborate the important components that go into them and how they work together in a basic operating session.

The main component of a typical computer includes a CPU, which I referred as a “brain” of the computer system. Everything that a computer does is overseen by the CPU. The component that holds data is called memory. There are several specific types of memory in a computer but I will not discuss about it. Next, is the motherboard; this it the main circuit board that all of the other internal components connect to. The CPU and memory are usually on the motherboard. Hard disk is use as storage to hold information such as programs and documents. After that is graphic card, this unit uses to translates image data from the computer into a format that cam be displayed by the monitor. I am assuming that everyone knows about keyboard, mouse, floppy disk, and CD-Rom are capable of; so I will not going to elucidate these components.

Computers are now familiar at work, home, and school, as desktop personal computers. Nowadays, people use it to type documents, send e-mail, browse the web, play games, and do all source of things with it. Now that I just emphasized the components of a pc and how it works, I hope next time you hear the word “technology,” you will recall these facts.
