Please help me fix my writing task 1

The bar chart gives information on the reason why Americans travelled, while the pie chart illustrates what travel problems they experienced in 2009

It is clear that the main reason for travel in US was to and from work in 2009. In the same year, price of travel was the most significant issue.

Turning to the details, the proportion of people commuted to and from work was the highest with 49%. Meanwhile, the figure of personal reasons was just 3% higher than shopping at 16%. Social or recreation was second lowest rate which just was one-fifth as high as reason for work. Finally, only 6% of trips were visiting friends and relatives which was the lowest.

According to the pie chart, price travel had the highest data, at 36%. Following that, the rate of safety concerns stood at around a fifth which was almost equal figure of Aggressive drivers, at 17%. The remaining over a quarter is consisted of highway congestion, with 14%, access to public transport, at 8% and space for pedestrians, at 6% which was the least popular problem.
