Please help me find what mistakes and grammar structures did i make?

Once upon a time, in a small village, there was a young man, who was very lazy and indolent. After his mother died, he made a living by going around the neighborhood to insist for food. Many people from many different places had empathized for his loss, and how he struggles for his living. Some gives him some bread. Others give him some rices, and leftover. So that became inevitable regular things that used to happen everyday. He goes in town and have people give him food. In the late noon, after he had begged the neighbors for adequate food. He leaned over the tree and took a nap. That’s how he spent his day.

He daydreams about how easy life would be if he didnt’ do anything and still get enough foods He feels very happy and satisfied just think about his life the next following days, that he doesn’t have to be worrying from getting starved. It also reminded him that working is not important.
