Please help me edit my Motivation letter

To Whom It May Concern

I am applying as a youth delegate to the Nato Youth Summit 2013 and a citizen of a non Nato Country (Liberia).

My name is Jonathan N Smith, born April 30th, 1984. Am the third of six children (three boys, three girls). After my birth, my mom and dad separated leaving me to grow up with step parents. I had a rough childhood thou and the Civil war in Liberia exposed me to many dangers.

I enrolled in elementary and completed my secondary education in 2001. After graduation, I continue my education at the ST. Clement University College. I studied Procurement and Human Resource Management and received an AA degree in 2010. In that same year, I graduated from the Data technology Computer Institute and also received AA degree in Hardware. Currently, I am in the University of Liberia, studying International Relations.

Along the way, I have acquired several certificates and diplomas in Conflict Management from reputable human rights and Youth groups like, The Liberia Media Center, Youth Action International, Peace Child Liberia, Women Democracy Radio, UNICEF Liberia, and the Liberian Children’s Parliament, One Voice Radio, YMCA Liberia, Acts International, Save the Children Liberia, the Federation of Liberian Youth and many others. I have participated in community peace building workshops and have work along with UNMIL community outreach team.
I have also had some great opportunity to represent my Country Liberia at International meetings and at West African Youth Regional Meetings and I serve as Africa Representative at the Asia- Africa Youth Secretariat.

I am confident that if I am given the opportunity to participate in next year Nato Youth summit, I will bring so many experiences at the table. Also it will be an opportunity for me to gain and learn newer ways and approaches in handling and dealing with youth problems and look forward to future collaboration and youth networking.

As I look forward to hearing from you, I await future interview at your convenient.

Respectfully yours,
