Please help me DISTINGUISH between these two sentences?

Please help me to distinguish the difference between these two sentences in the criteria sheet for my experimental report:
There are three parts in the marking criteria:

· Knowledge and conceptual understanding,
· Investigative process - Experimental design and analysis of data,
· Evaluating and concluding - Analysis if interrelationships in the discussion, evaluating of the experiment and conclusion.
The first sentence is in the Knowledge and conceptual understanding part and it says
1. Shows an understanding that the launch and flight of a rocket involves complex interrelationships between Newton's Three Laws of Motion.
The second sentence is in the third part (i.e. Evaluating and concluding..) it says:
2. Analysis and evaluation of complex scientific interrelationships of Newton's Three Laws of Motion involved in the launch and flight of a rocket.
I would really appreciate your help if you can help me... Thanks in advance!
