Please help me critque these sentences - He says it is grammatically correct

I have an article that was written and he is animate that it is grammatically correct.
I don't have the English terminology to prove him wrong but I know it is. Can you critique
one or two sentences and say why it's not correct? There are three paragraphs
in total but here are 5 sentences in one of the paragraphs of the article...

1) Prior to the rise in investing in property, numerous people in America used to
think of these houses meant much essential and greatest expense.

2) Keeping apart the fact that rates on homes have got actually decreased,
there are numerous other reasons that possibly may not be the greatest
of the thought to purchase properties.

3) It is better to understand the pros and cons from the circumstances.

4) Besides this particular it's good to learn the resources the company has,
and it is capable of making a good investment.

5) When an organization makes a selection to get a
residence then the next thing, it might need is a real estate agent.
