Please help me correcting the writing ielts task 2: technology vs schools

The significant popularity of technology is witnessed more and more in all aspects of life, especially education. While some people may argue that computers and the internet bring more benefits for children than schools do, others disagree. From my point of view, although the advantages of technology are undisputed, schools and teachers still play an irreplaceable role in education.

On the one hand, computers and the Internet are considered as the most amazing invention changing the way of learning from traditional methods to modern ones. More specifically, many media tools and software inspire children to study more enthusiastically. Instead of sticking with thousand-page textbooks or repeating after teachers over and over, children now enjoy studying by vivid videos, exciting music or colorful pictures. Furthermore, online courses with flexible time are opening the door for children to gain more valuable knowledge while saving money. Take “coursera”, an international website as an example, there are thousands of self-study lessons in all fields provided, half of which are free but still of great quality. Therefore, students neither have to spend much time going to specific centers nor have to go to the great expense of experts’ tutor to improve their skills.

On the other hand, schools and teachers are absolutely required for well-rounded education. As far as the study environment is concerned, the mission of schools is ensuring that students' concentration, their social communicating ability as well as their physical development should be advanced at the same time. For example, compared with interacting through micro phone and laptop screen, face-to-face conversation in class on a daily basis is considerably more effective in order to enhance linguistic skills for children. Moreover, certificated teachers are expected to provide more useful and reliable information than random teachers on the Internet. Especially, many online advertisements exaggerate greatly teachers’ reputation which actually is unreal.

In conclusion, both technology, and schools are necessary for children. Combining their pros to create the most relaxing and effective studying process is the goal of the modern education.
