John Henry,an African American,was born in a former slave family.He was the strongest person people had ever seen.He became a steel-driver when he grew up.He lead workers on a project to creat a 1-1.5km tunnel in west Virginia which required by a railway.For not let steamed-machines take the place of him and his friends,he had a race with a machine and won.But he died in the race due to tired.
