Please help me correcting a formal request

Hi, I am going to send a formal request to a software company and I would be grateful if you could tak a look over it. Thanks very much:-)

My name is ... and I represent a project concerning textmining at the University of ... . Our main aim is to study the basics of textmining and so we would appreciate your support you may be able to lend. We would be grateful if you could provide us with some of your products like MedScan or Pathway Studio for education purposes.
