Please help me correct this essay.

Discipline is an over increasing problem in modern schools. Some people think that discipline should be the responsible of teachers while others think that this is the role of parents.
Discuss both sides and give your opinion.
My essay:
As a matter of fact, discipline-related issues can be deemed an increasing problem in the majority of schools. Whether teachers or parents having the authority to generate these methods has always been a subject of dispute. To the best of my knowledge, both views are reasonable to some extend, but the combination of parents and teachers will yield an optimum result.
On the one hand, punishments ought to be imposed by teachers for several reasons. The first reason relates to the fact that children spend a plenty of time at schools, hence teachers can monitor children’s attitude. Furthermore, in large amount of countries, teachers have the authority to apply punishment whenever students break the rule. The second reason regards teacher’s obligation. To the most part, teachers should generate children’s moral values and supervise their behavior. It can be exemplified by the case that some exercise punishment could be applied for badly-behaved children and ensure that they do not refuse to follow rules.
On the other hand, it should be the responsibility of parents. On the grounds of the intimate relationship and emotional bond, parents can be straightforward to educate their children. Naughty children tend to follow their parental advice and change their disrespectful attitude. Moreover, thanks to some talks among family members, there has been an tremendous effect on children’s way of thinking. Therefore, discipline is also parental responsibility.
All in all, I reaffirm my opinion that disciplinary issues should be tackled by teachers and parents to make sure the full children’s progress. However, punishment should be associated with some useful lessons and it must not be physically and mentally harmful.
