Overall, the percentages of women in five countries except for Australia, choosing to study in higher institutions in 2015 were much larger than that in 1980. Moreover, Korean females experienced in higher institutions as the least.
In detail, Australian and American female pupils in percentage terms were the most compared with other nations, at nearly 60 percent in 1980, and it remained unchanged for Australians in 2015. Additionally, the proportions of female students from the UK and the USA shared a similar upward value of 20 percent over three decades, 35 percent versus 55 percent for the UK, and 38 percent versus 58 percent for the USA. In France, the data climbed slightly from 50 percent to nearly 55 percent within 35 years. In addition, though Korean school girls progressing towards universities were relatively low in amount, there was a significant upward value, modestly initiated at 15 percent, but then doubled that of exactly 30 percent in 2015.
