Overall, the percentage of women legally acquiring a driving license was larger than that of men over time. Additionally, There was a significant increase in license possession in the last time span, between 2000 and 2010.

In 1980, percentages of women owning a driving license were greater than that of men, at more or less than 48 percent and nearly 28 percent respectively. Likewise, there was over 50 percent of women obtaining the license in comparison to only 38 percent of men recorded in 1990. In the following decade, women and men in percentage shared a similar upward value of over 10 percent. Proportions of women dropped slightly from roughly 68 percent in 2000 to considerably more than 62 percent in 2010. Whilst, the figure of men remained unchanged, at almost 50 percent in the last two decades on the chart.
