Please help me correct these translations grammatically?

Hello I'm Had to translate these from french, and this is what I got. Could you please help me correct them grammatically please and make them natural?

1 Is the house the way/how you described it in your book?
2 It doesn't get any more secure than this. My building has gurads stationed outside it.

3 You're sick to go out with your mom but not sick to have fun with friends. Is that it? The second your friends call you are no longer sick.
4 Could you not have gotten braces or did you have to?
