Further to our earlier telephone discussion, I have to reiterate my strong wish to remain at the current post for a longer while or alternately be arranged to a working space where is closer to my home, preferably at unpolluted countryside and more importantly, with relatively lighter workloads since I was unfortunately diagnosed with lung cancer in May 2017.
As I have stated before the battle against lung cancer is always capricious and laborious and it is particularly no rare for a patient like me to encounter cancer recurrence within 5 years after the medical treatments, I am convinced I am no longer afford to consistently handle the heavy office duties at this crucial rehabilitation moment.
For the best interests of our department and my current health condition, I hope you and fellow seniors will kindly consider my request and provide an arrangement which should be good and appropriate for both parties.
Thank you again for arranging me at the current post since November 2017 and I really wish to continue making contribution at there in the upcoming years.
