The two pie charts illustrate the average domestic spending in japan and malaysia in 2010. As can be seen,transport accounted for the greatest proportion in japan, while housing was the highest expense in malaysia.

It is evident that housing, transport and food make up a significant percentage in both nations. Transport came first with 29% in japan, whereas malaysia allocated the highest amount of expenditure for housing, with just over a third. Next, Food ranks the second in both countries, with 24% in japan and 27% in malaysia.

Obviously, healthcare was the least essential feature in both nation with 3% and 6% respectively.In japan, good and service take up the remaining 20% , 2 times higher than the counterpart in malaysia , with only one in ten.
