Please help me correct my writing task 2, thank in advance!

Topic: Many young people who leave school hold a negative attitude towards learning. Why does this happen? What are the solutions?

My essay:

There is a phenomenon that many youngsters nowadays have a negative attitude towards learning after graduating. There are some reasons for this problem and some measures should be taken to tackle this tendency.

There are two main reasons why there is a lack of learning’s interest in millennials these days. Firstly, many students are forced to study some courses that they are not interested in. if students have to study boring majors, they will get bored, stressed and therefore, they may hold a negative attitude towards learning. For example, some of my friends who were forced to study engineering major decided to drop out of their course in the first two months at their university. Secondly, it is because of the extremely demanding learning programs. Many students indeed have to deal with a huge amount of homework every day, then they might do not have enough leisure time to pursue their hobbies or interests since they have to spend most of their time studying.

There are some methods that should be taken into account to mitigate that potential problem. Children should be free in terms of choosing their subject’s preference. When they can do what they love, they are willing to dedicate their time and effort to their studies, and societies also have more productive labor in many fields. Besides, learning curriculums should be properly designed to meet student’s needs without being too exhausting. Parents should not only encourage their children to make a balance between study and relax but also educate them about the importance of being a good learner at their later time.

In conclusion, there are some practical measures that people need to consider to resolve this negative issue.
