Hi I have anawered someone's question in a website. Please correct my answer.

Question: Can my brother sponsor me for a canadian PR? My mom owns a small business and cannot leave and my brother is alone.

Answer:No, your brother cannot sponsor you for your PR. He can only do if your parents/grand parents are deceased. Another way is to sponsor your parents, in which case your mother doesn’t want to leave, and then you can go as dependent. You will have to qualify through Express entry to immigrate independently.

I wonder if I used "in which case" correctly in the above answer and whether the whole sentence is correct?
