The internet has transformed the way information is shared andconsumed, but it has also created problems that did not exist before. Whatare the most serious problems associated with the internet and whatsolutions can you suggest? ANSWER: The internet has brought about a dramatic change in the way of sharingand consuming information. This, however, has led to new serious coming-up matters, to which people have to have solutions. Together with the development to Internet, several problems can bepredicted. The most apparent issue is the increase in committing crime. A number of people upload hot and strange, even fake news on social media with a view to attracting notice and fame or for bad purposes, such as damaging someone’s image, spreading opinions against governments. As a consequence,false information may lead to false cognition, which is likely to result in wrong behaviors. In addition, freedom in internet usage also put information securities at risk, which affects not only individuals but also the whole country. Every information system has securities leaks, which hackers easily break into to steal users’ information. More seriously, this may cause national secrets revelation in military, and other aspects. For example, in May 2017, people all over the world were extremely concerned about a virus code called “Wannacry”, which stole users’ data and required money if they wanted to get their data back. There are several measures that people can take to solve the problemsabove. First, governments should improve control in Internet usage, preventwebsites which upload false information as well as fine more heavily peoplesharing unconfirmed news. Second, citizens should check information carefully before believing and sharing, also it is vital that everyone install securities softwares to protect data. Besides, more collaboration should be encouraged among nations. If not, there can be an easy virus spread through Internet. For instance, Wannacry was first discovered in Ukraine, then quickly appeared in other countries. In summary, there are various solutions that people can take to tackle the dangerous problems caused by the Internet.
