Please help me correct my ielts writing task 2

Topic: some people think that governments should give financial support to creative artists such as painters and musicians. Others believe that creative artists should be funded by alternatives sources. discuss both views and give your own opinion

Nowadays, the question of whether creative artists should be supported by state budgets or other alternative sources has been receiving a great deal of attention. While some people disagree with the idea of government should support creative artists, I believe that money for art projects should come from both government and other sources.

There are some compelling reasons why governments should give financial support to some art projects. First, since some kinds of art represent national identity, governments should encourage to develop these kinds of arts. In fact, there are myriad works of art place in public spaces, such as streets, museums, and other squares in city centres, thus local people could enjoy and study about their national culture and history from these works of art. Second, by attracting visitors and tourists from works of art, such as statues, sculptures and monuments, government aslo earn revenues from tourism. Eiffel tower in Paris, Liberty Enlightening the World in Newyork are great examples, they attract thousands of people all around the world each year, which results in boosting the host economic well-being.

On the other hand, there are also some reasons why some art projects should be funded by other alternative sources rather than national budgets. First, since government have more vital concerns rather than works of art, national budgets should be used to address these. Infact, governments should spent money on key fields, such as education, healthcare, infrastructures and security, which could improve quality of social life. Second, there are thousands of people who love enjoying works of art, thus they should contribute to creative artists creating these art project. For example, the art lovers could pay fee, donate or buy artists's works, which lead to the artist could boost individual economic in order to develop their talents.

In conclusion, in my opinion, both governments and other alternatives should contribute to artists.
