Please help me correct my Ielts writing task 1

The two images delineate the school campus’s shifts for the period from 1985 to 2012. Overall, the campus witnessed a handful of changes with the erection of a swimming pool, fitness club, computer room together with the appearance of trees.

For instance, in 1985 in northwestern was there an office. Behind it, a library and a car park were constructed. To the east of the campus, there was a classroom block with 2 stories. A huge playing field was set up on the lower side of the campus.

By comparison, while the office in northwestern stayed the status-quo, the library and the car park next to it were demolished to make room for a computer room and some trees. The increased number of students from 1500 to 2300 led to the appearance of two classrooms along with the expansion of the classroom block. On the lower part of the campus was the playing field was made smaller to give way to the erection of a swimming pool and a fitness club.

One notable feature was that by dint of narrowing the playing field did students have an opportunity to get access to the new facility on the campus.
