The process gives information generally about how water cycle works.

Overall, there are four primary steps in the entire water cycle. Any stage in water cycle can become starting or finishing step.

From my point of view, we should start with evaporation step. Water in rivers, lakes, especially seas are heated by the sun. Therefore, water is become to invisible water vapour. In addition, vegetation transpires also result in invisible water vapour. Then, these water vapours are blown by wind and cooled to become forming clouds.

In next step, those forming clouds are continuously blown anywhere. When they are cool enough, they cause rain. A part of water from these rain flow into rivers or lakes and finally flow into the seas. The other part of them soak through the ground. Then, these water also flow into lakes, rivers and seas.
