Would you prefer to buy new things or repair old things? (Academic writing)
In my perspective, I am more enamored of buying new things than repairing old things for 2 main reasons. Before all else, as a consequence of advanced technology, it now costs less time and money to buy new things than to get the old ones fixed. Commodities are copious, and prices are low. Accordingly, people would rather buy something new than repair it. Even if people want to get the old things repaired themselves, it is arduous to do that because the old ones sometimes contain so many sophisticated parts. In addition, new things will not break up easily and their quality patently will be much better than the previous ones. Some features only exist in the latest version, which means users’ life will be far simpler with those state-of-the-art products. In conclusion, customers’ life will go more smoothly by buying new things than having the old things fixed.
