Please help me correct my essay

Some industrialized countries have serious environmental problems. The damage to the environment is an inevitable result when a country tends to improve the standard of living. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The rapid industrialization of some countries in recent years has been a wonderful signal which demonstrates that the economy of these countries is developing vehemently in other to make their citizen have a better life. However, the fast industrialization also causes many detrimental effects on the environment. I totally agree with this view.

First, it is obvious that government will invest in economy by building more and more factories using for manufacturing commodities. This is because economy is a backbone of a country which decides whether a nation will be a prosperous one or not in the future. Nevertheless, these factories’ activities can release pollutants into environment which can leave a carbon footprint and climate change.

More importantly, if the government cannot control the activities of entrepreneurs strictly, they will never follow the environmental laws of government. For example, in my country, there is a company namely Fomosa which discharges industrial sewage into the sea. As a result, many costly fishes were died in this event and fisherman face with the dilemma when losing all treasures.

This is not to say that the development countries don’t pay attention to environmental issues. The government also gives priority to preserving the environment by enacting the environmental laws to control the manufacture activities of many factories in their country. It also endeavors the manufacture companies using eco-friendly machines to keep the environment clean.

To sum up, environmental problems are a heated topic of any development countries. They need a balance approach between environment and trade. Only doing so, the citizen will have a happy life.
