Topic: Nowadays information is freely available on internet, therefore is no longer need for museum. To what extent do you agree or disagree ?

The era of Technology brings humans closer to information than all the previous time had ever made before. People just need a computer connected to the internet to find and surft everything they want without going to anywhere in person. Despite this convenience, the information is only virtual and can not be checked in practice. We should use the virtual information for only purpose of previewing. The real things and historical mementos need keeping and showing to the public to recall the national history.

The availably vitural information on the internet is not as value as the real things in museums. The first, the virtual information is not objective. It is always affected by personal viewpoint of the author and photographer. Therefore, people should use it as a consult. It can not be replaced for museums in the reality. On the contrary, the information which the museums bring is objective . Anyone who would like to study and observe can come to see in person and check and give personal comments. This is individual and independent.

The second, museums are not only keep information but also store storical souvenirs which recalling war time and soldiers and others. People can use the informaion in museum for not only the need of learning the history, but also studying academic. For this matter, museums always definitely have its meaning. For an instance, my group are assigned a task of describing instruments of H’mong ethnic minority in XIII century in Vietnam. We can be at home and use the search engine to find out the instruments. However, we found that the instruments are absolutely different from each other in different articles. The photos with opinions are also various. This makes my group understand the information on the internet is not useful and very confusing. Therefore, we decided to go to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology to be able to observe the instruments and make objective opinions.

Free information on the internet is useful sometimes. However, museums are places storing historical things in real, which a virtual network never take over. Museums are always useful and never outdated.
