The line graph depicts the proportion of visitors experiencing a Caribbean island from 2010 to 2017.
Overall, it's evident that the number of tourists saw an increase in three sectors included visitors staying on cruise ships, visitors staying on the island, a total of them.
In 2010, around 0,25 million visitors chose to stay on cruise ships while the figure for ones deciding to stay on the island was higher with 0,75 million visitors. Consequently, the general number of visitors making two different decisions stood at only one million in 2010.
Nevertheless, after 2011, the figure for visitors staying on cruise ships and the island experienced a slight fluctuation. The people on cruise ships decreased suddenly in 2012 whereas this decrease happened to visitors staying on the island in 2016 before both of them gradually rose back to 1,5 million people on cruise ships and 2 million people on the island. This led to a significant increase in the total number of people making two different choices, over 3.5 million visitors.
