Topic: The chart below shows the annual pay (thousands of US $) for doctors and other workers in 7 countries in 2004.

The bar chart compares levels of yearly income of doctors and other workers in several different countries in year 2004.

Overall, doctors had significantly better salary than employees in other fields, with the gaps varying wildly among the countries. On top of that, physicians and other workers in the US had the highest incomes compared to the remaining nations, at 120 and 45 thousand dollars respectively.

It can be clearly seen from the graph that average wage of an Italy, Czech and Germany doctor was less or more three times than that of a worker in other fields. The pattern for Finland was slightly different, with doctors paid less, at 52 thousand dollars, which doubled the income of other labors, just 25 thousand dollars.

Physicians in France and Switzerland were on par in receiving salary, about 70 thousand dollars. Whereas, there was a disparity in terms of other workers, as the latter’s earnings were a bit higher at 40 thousand dollars compared to 30 thousand dollars of the former.
