Please help me check this mistake correction exercise

Please help me check if I have done the following exercise correctly:

6. "most people" is okay. "of the" is not necessary, but I'd say either version is correct
7. "improving" is better, but "to improve" is not exactly an error. But I see your point. "Improving" would be preferred.
