Please help me check the vocabulary that  I use is it correct

Hi, I translat a short paragraph in to English, i want to know the vocabulary I use are formal?

Your Excellencies, distinguished, ladies and gentlemen, I am very pleased to welcome you to this magnificent castle tonight. I would like to represent Foreign & Commonwealth Office of British, welcome you and your distinguished delegates to visit the UK.

Although Taiwan is smaller than Britain, the people of Taiwan have made important contributions to economic development in the world. Also, in the maintaining of the world peace, made important dedication. Therefore, this conference represents the faithful friendship between two countries.

Thank you for taking the time to visit the United Kingdom, we are honored to have your participate tonight. I please everyone brings the passion and wishes of British people back to Taiwan. At the last please let us have a toast!
