In the future, nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with that statement?

It is argued that there will be no one purchasing physical media such as printed newspaper or books one day, due to the fact that they will be capable of having an approach to online and digital media in order to search for every information they want without paying. From my perspective, I strongly agree with this point of view because of these following reasons.
First of all, it is faster and easier to look for anything about any fields on the internet than via printed newspaper and books. This is because just by some quick clicks, people can access numerous sources of some information they are looking for, instead of spending plenty of time finding which printed newspaper or books contain some information they need. For example, if a person want to travel somewhere for their holiday but they find it difficult to decide the destination, they are able to google it and discover dozens of recommended tourist attractions in just around ten seconds. However, if they want to look for the information through physical media, they have to go to the stores and spend quite much time flipping the pages of several magazines to find out some interesting regions.
Secondly, the cost of having an acess to information online is far cheaper than that of looking for something by reading printed newspapers or books. Just with some hundreds thousand VND for the monthly Internet fee, people can search for a wide range of information they want. However, in order to gain the information about only one field, people have to expend a great deal of money on many exclusive books. For example, if you want to learn English, you can work out extensive materials on the internet with only 100 thousand VND. By contrast, if you buy English books to improve your English, the price for you to achieve the level you want is definitely much more 100 thousand VND.
In conclusion, it is possible that people have a tendency to stop using physical media, and instead approach more and more to online and digital media thanks to its convinience and reasonable price.
