Convenience foods will become increasingly prevalent and eventually replace traditional foods and traditional methods of foods preparation.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion. Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your knowledge or experience.

My essay:

As a result of the society modernization, convenience food is now universal in most countries and is becoming increasingly popular. However, traditional foods and accustomed cuisines are unreplaceable due to their nutrition, custom and spiritual value contributing to every country and every individual.

First of all, it’s a matter of fact that convenient foods not only have vague, unclear origin but also not as flavorful and nourishing as traditional foods. If people accumulate junk food regularly, they are exposed to germs, toxins and pollutants. All these detrimental intrusions can put a body out of balance, interfere with the flow of energy within the body and slow down the immune system and vital metabolic process.

Needless to say, nutrition originating from organic foods rather than convenience foods is the vital key that determines the condition of the body’s internal environment. Traditional foods from growing and preparing food organically provide a large amount of vitamins, minerals, trace elements, essential amino acids, and highly unsaturated fatty acids. Further, the traditional foods’ ultimate power is to significantly affect your health and boost your life energy.

Ultimately, traditional methods of food preparation also dedicate significances to society like enhancing the connection and gratitude between everything, everyone in this Universe, protecting and developing the culture. Only when you have experience of the process of preparing and producing the foods by yourself, you can genuinely feel grateful for the foods provided and can have unforgettable memories with your beloved ones. At special celebrations like Tet, Christmas, Easter, together preparing the traditional feasts are the crucial elements to specialize this occasion to every families and friends.

By way of conclusion, the reason for the increasing popularity of convenience foods is there availability and accessibility. However, traditional foods and traditional methods of food preparation will remain infinitely and thrivingly due to their elevated nutrition, spiritual worth.
