The world of work is rapidly changing and employees cannot depend on having the same job or the same working conditions for life. Why is it the case? Can you suggest some ways to prepare people to work in the future?

As the demands of modern society are varying, the roles and the responsibilities of jobs are changing to adapt to new ways of living and working. Therefore, workers cannot live on expectedly life-long jobs. This is attributed to the development of artificial intelligence and the increasing number of workers in every field, and two measures could be taken into consideration to solve this problem.
Since technology is developing faster than ever, more and more modern machines and robots are created and can outdo the work of their human counterparts. These automated processes would replace thousands of employees, making them lose their jobs. For example, the work of packaging products used to be done by hands; however, it now can be accomplished by factory robots with greater productivity. Furthermore, the number of qualified employees is rapidly increasing, which could lead to several workers fired and replaced with more exceptional ones.
Preparation is necessary for the changing world of work. The first thing people can do is to equip themselves with the current knowledge of modern technology as some jobs are usually incorporating technology into their process. By keeping up to date with these changes, workers can adapt to the new ways of working, hence not being left behind in this modern world. To help achieve this, they can participate in educational courses about existing technology. Another method is to provide students with opportunities to experience real work to have a better career orientation for their future.
In conclusion, although there can be so many changes in the world of work, educating people to update with modern technology and to carefully choose their career is essential preparations towards any problems.
