Please help me check my motivation letter

Hi, I am writing this letter for admission to a double degree program in Europe.
I would greatly appreciate any comments or corrections.

Dear admission's officer,

I am a 28 years old MBA student from XXXX in XXXX, Colombia. I am interested in the double degree agreement XXXX has with XXXX, as I believe it is a great opportunity for me.

Even as an intern in a small software company, I was extremely interested in the software industry and the inner workings of technology based companies. As I both enjoyed the technical practice and discovered the organizational challenges of the industry, I became aware of its complex nature and the monumental effort needed to manage such a company.

After graduating in Computer Science in 2004, I joined XXX, a highly-ranked software company, and have worked there for four years now. Working for XXX, it became clear to me that I needed to develop my understanding of human interaction and team dynamics if I was ever to be a software project manager, be it in XXX, another well-established software company, or in my own business. This lead me to enroll in XXXXXs MBA program last year.

Studying in XXXX has diversified my views of software as an industry, and increased my knowledge in management. While in my second semester, I was given a small management position in an international project. It has proven to be a major challenge, and my studies in XXXX have been quite useful. I am very glad to have taken the MBA, as it has helped me in my development as a potential software manager and entrepreneur.

I have also realized how important it is to explore the world in search for partnerships and new business opportunities. The Colombian software companies I have worked for or have had contact with all aim for international outsourcing projects. I consider preparing for this future of massive international cooperation to be critical. I think XXXX can help me better prepare for this.

After discovering XXXX's partnership with XXXX, the chance to study in one of Germany's top ranked business schools became very attractive to me. Not only does the city have a cosmopolitan, highly-cultured environment, but XXXX in particular offers a great academic experience and good opportunities to become familiar with the European economy.

While the experience of studying in Germany will broaden my horizons, XXXX's academic program will surely balance my education, improve my understanding of management, and develop my entrepreneurial aspirations. These are benefits I believe to be crucial to better achieve my goals, and very difficult to get from any place other than XXXX. Thus, I am strongly motivated to be accepted for the double degree program and study in XXXX.
