Please help me check my essay about where I prefer to live, a big city or a small town.

I’ve lived in Quy Nhon City, a coastal city in the centre of Vietnam, since the day I was born. It’s not a very big city but it has everything that a normal city has, such as supermarkets, movie theaters, etc. I really can’t imagine what my life would be if I lived in a small town. I prefer to live in a big city because of the following reasons.

Firstly, big cities have better living conditions. Streets are wider and they’re always clean. Markets are very big. You can buy anything you want there. Schools are full of amenities and there’re always more than two schools in a big city. You don’t need to go far to school. My uncle’s family live in a small town. His daughter has to spend 40 minutes each day to go to school.

Secondly, you can get a job easier when you live in a big city. There’re many companies, shops, banks, etc. in a big city so that there’re more job opportunities. Many people move from a town to a big city to find a job. Most of them are young people who can’t find suitable jobs for themselves when they live in a small town. Some of them go to a big city to study at universities. After graduated, they stay there to find a job.

Thirdly, you can know many people from many places when you live in a big city.

Althought, a big city has its own disadvantages, such as polluted eviroment, dense population, etc., I still prefer to live in a big city. And I think that wherever you live, if you love that place, it’ll the most suitable place for you to live.
