Today more and more people are using mobile phones and computers. Thus, people are losing the ability to communicate face to face. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Some people argue that using mobile phones and computers have negative impacts on communication ability. I partly agree with this idea.
On the other hand, there are several reasons why high-tech devices like mobile phones and computers make people lose how to communicate face to face. One reason is that people are easily immersed in watching television or playing mobile phone games instead of knowing about people around them, especially young people. For instance, teenagers who are addicted to online games, refuse to participate in extracurricular activities which allows them to gain some valuable experience. As a result, it not only gives them countless opportunities to learn speaking skill but also encourages people to interact more frequently by using online applications such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. In some cases, people seem difficult to share feelings with their family members if they live in a foreign country

In conclusion, it is certainly true that there are some drawbacks of using mobile phone and computers in communication face to face. However, I believe that it is also an important way to enhance their ability to blend in with the community.
