COLOUR PROPOSAL

Name of company: Tammy's TeaCakes

Kind of business: everyday tea and cakes + tea rooms

Main colours: tea green, drab green, milk white, dusty pink, purply red.

Tea green is a lovely grey green shade of leaves. It brings people fresh air from nature, and since it is a mix between grey and green, the colour wouldn't be too bright yet calm and relaxing. That is also what I expect my customers to feel. Also, considering tea green our theme colour, we might use it for the wall so that it can cover a significant amount of surface.

I couldn't find any colour that both goes along well with tea green and expresses ideally our motto apart from milk white. Milk white, as its name expresses, is a milky white colour that represents warmness, nurture and fullfillment. We want our customers feel cared for and whenever they come into the shop, they feel like home. The ceiling will get this colour, as well as some pillars and wood architectures along the room.

As for fabric and furnishings, we use a combination of drab green, dusty pink and purply red. Drab green is considered a lightish brown that expresses dependability, steadiness and peaceful feeling. Unlike the original pink, dusty pink is a feminine colour that puts lightness to the room yet not too girly. The last colour in the chosen list, purply red, is a deep colour which serves perfectly as a sample for dedication and thoughtfulness.
