Speaking Part 1:
Q: What kind of housing/accommodation do you live in?
A: I live in a rented room for students in Ho Chi Minh City. It is a small room with just about 20 square meters, but it is a full-equipped room with a reasonable price for me.
Q: Who do you live with?
A: I live with my university friend in a rented room to share rental cost. We come from other cities and go to Ho Chi Minh City to study, so we often support each other to overcome difficulties in this new city.
Q: How long have you lived there?
A: I have lived there for about 4 years since I went to the university. And in the future, I intend to continue living here because it is easy for me to develop my career after graduation.
Q: What’s the difference between where you are living now and where you have lived in the past?
A: Well, now I’m living in Ho Chi Minh city which has an intense traffic density and has a lot of high building. However, in the past, I lived in Quang Ngai City, it is my hometown – a small city with a lot of fields and rivers.
Q: Do you plan to live there for a long time?
A: Definitely yes, you know, this is a big city which has a lot of multinational businesses, which gives me big opportunities to develop my career.
Q: Which room does your family spend most of the time in?
A: Kitchen is a place that my family spend most of the time in. Well, my kitchen is quite spacious, it has a big kitchen cabinet, a wine shelf, and a TV that is hung on the opposite wall with a big dinner table . Therefore, my family often stays here for big family gatherings.
Q: Are the transport facilities to your home very good?
A: To be honest, the transport facilities are excellent and modern, it rarely has accidents or traffic congestion. I often travel to work by motorbike.
Q: Do you prefer living in a house or a flat?
A: I like living in a house more than a flat. I don’t like to use a common elevator or a parking lot with many people. So, living in a house makes me feel more comfortable and free.
Q: Please describe the room you live in.
A: I live in a rented room that has a small kitchen shelf, a bed, and a bathroom. It also has a small balcony that I use to plant vegetables and hang out wet clothes. It is not spacious room, but it is a full-equipped room.
Q: What part of your home do you like the most?
A: My bedroom is my favorite area in my home because of its convenience and privacy. It helps me more concentrate on studying and reduce stress after a hard-studying day by watching Netflix on my own bed.
