The chart below presents the results of a survey about percentages of residents who bought fresh coffee, bought instant coffee or went to a café or tea in last 4 week of five cities of Australia.

Overall, All five Australian countries have high percentages of residents going to a café for coffee or tea compared to percentages of residents buying fresh coffee. The percentages of residents buying instant coffee are varied on each countries, but there are not much differences of percentages between the cities.

The first group is about residents who bought fresh coffee in last four weeks. The percentages of residents buying coffee of Sydney and Melbourne are nearly the same, at 44% and 43% respectively. Similarly, The percentages of residents buying coffee of Brisbane and Adelaide are also the same but with lower figures, around 34%. Hobart has the average percentage among five cities, at 37%.

The second group is about residents who bought instant coffee in last four weeks. Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide have the percentages of residents buying instant coffee ranging from 42% to 50%. It is clear that the highest percentage of residents buying instant coffee among all cities is Hobart with 59 %. The second higher one is Brisbane with 55%.

The final group is about residents who went to café for coffee or tea in last four weeks. Top three out of five countries having highest percentage of residents going to café in order are Melbourne , at 68 %, Hobart , at 65 %,and Sydney, at 61 %. Brisbane with 51 % and Adelaide with 49 % are shown on the chart.

In conclusion, the percentages of city residents buying fresh coffee and instant coffee and going to a café in last 4 weeks is varied on each Australian cities.
