The provided bar chart depicts data on the figures of British people donating to charity according to 5 distinct age groups for the years 1990 and 2010. A glance at the chart reveals that British people used to donate more in 1990 in comparaison with 2010 and that the biggest number of charity givers falls into the 36-50 age category.

It can be clearly seen that the vast majority of british people who give money for philanthropist purposes are aged between 36 and 50 in 1990 and between 51 and 65 in 2010 with a proportion just above and just beneath 40% respectively.

As for the lowest percentage, it is associated with young adults(18-25) with approximatively 17% in 1990. Actually, this trend even persists in 2010 however with roughly 10% less than in 1990.

It is also worth noting that the percentage of British donators in 1990 is higher than those in 2010 as an overall trend with the exception of people aged 51 and above.

To conclude the chart shows that the percentage of British donators and their age are highly correleated between 18 and 50 in 1990 (between 18 and 65 in 2010) but they become negatively correlated for the elderly's age group.
