Scientists predict that all people will choose to talk the same global language in the future.

Do you think this is a positive or negative development?

Globalization is a development trend of most countries in the world. Because of its strong growth, an international language for all countries in the world is predicted that will become universal by many scientists. I think beside positive developments, this will cause many negative development.

In my opinion, there are two largest positive development. First, communication becomes simple and easy for everyone. We don’t need study another language to speak with an international friend. We can go abroad any countries without learning foreign language. The large language test, for instance IELTS, TOEIC, HSK or JPLT will be removed. This help to save much money and time. Second, if we have a general language, we will easily know about culture of any countries in the world. We can understand deeply foreign literature, history of the other countries.

On the other hand, a general language also causes many negative development. One of them can factor is the loss of multi language. Language is the significant icon of each ethnic. Nowadays, many languages have risk of loss. Many organizations have to find solution to conserve these languages. Language is the fame of each culture. If the world has only one language, our diversity of culture might vanish. Besides, studying language help our brain cleverly and this is also passion of many people. Therefore, a general language for everyone in the world will cause many disadvantages for many people.

Summary, the same global language has both advantages and disadvantages for each person and the world.
