Why do you think that is?

Many people think that the quantity of good news is less than the quantity of bad news. There are a variety of reasons for this opinion. From my point of view, we don’t need to make good and bad news have the same quantity.
I think there are 2 large reason to explain to opinion about proportion of bad and good news. The first reason might come from sense of readers. Human tends to pay more attention to bad news than good news. We can see that the bad news is very viral in social network. A war, a robbery or an accident are shared more than volunteer activities or kindness of someone. Second, many news headquarters want to have the more view, the better. Therefore, they focus on subjects that easily attract attention of viewers such as famines, crimes or scandals. Because of this, readers easily approach with bad thing more than good news.
Bad news might be more than good news. However, I think we do not balance between good news and bad news. The best significant things of a news is accuracy. The jounalists have responsibility to convey the right information to the readers. The good or bad news more or less does not matter. The important thing is the true. In my opinion, I care aboutthe quality of news rather than the quantity of them.
There are many explanations for the opinion that bad news is more than good news. Besides, I think we should care about quality of news rather than the balance of bad and good news.
