Please help me advise if the below email is correct which I am going to send to the higher management for pricing approval (Note: after several email there has been no reply from the concern hence I am writing this email to the top management)

Reference to the trailing email, we have been following up for the approval of charges for Item123 which we have completed the inspection and released the Item.

Since this is a new Item, it requires Sales approval to update the price in the system to facilitate order closing

Request you to please look into this.

Your letter does not make much sense. If you are writing to upper management, write clearly. They are very busy people, so make your letter very brief, too.
