Please, help me

Could you tell me, is it normal to say, "The little boy lost his principal in the game"? I used 'principal' meaning 'capital'....

Okay... Could you suppose, what can be lost in a game by children? Priority? Also this word should go with 'legal', e.g. considering business. 'To retain a legal ... '?

What sort of game are you talking about, and what exactly are the children losing? Normally, if one loses a game, one just loses.One may lose confidence in oneself, or lose face. Is that what you mean?
