Determine patient medication needs and provide appropriate prescriptions whenever as needed. The medicine on prescriptions will be provided by ** organization. Requirement: Must be a medical doctorCommitment:  Total 9 hours per week. (The physician) In this place, what i want to say is our organization(one of the small NGO) have been setting up fixed and mobile clinics but our organization are not the one which is organize by physician. We just looking for the volunteer physician to provide health care to poor people. So can i write " **(organization name) is setting up......?

(The physician may submit a schedule as much as three months in advance.) I don't make sense this underlined sentence. Could you explain it for me?

(Actually, what i want to say is sometime they didn't turn up on the agreed day. The coordinator are used to face trouble that patients are waiting, doctor don't turn up. Hi Naked,

Well, I think that the best thing is for you to write a new announcement incorporating those ideas of mine that you like, and then adding the new thoughts in your own words. That way I can suggest changes.

I wrote: The physician may submit a schedule as much as three months in advance”. I thought that this was what you meant when, in your original question, you wrote “physician can arrange the fixed schedule within 3 months period”. Perhaps it would be better to write “The physician may submit a three-month schedule in advance”.(?) If this is not what you want, please explain further.

Finally, when one writes that “the physician is obliged to inform the organizer of any changes…” it’s simply a polite way of saying that the physician had better stick to the schedule and show up when he has agreed to show up or all **** will break loose with patients arriving for treatment and only administrators left to tell them that they have to come back another day. Obligating the volunteer to show up on the day he/she has agreed upon is quite important. If he cannot keep to the schedule it is his responsibility to find a replacement.

Thanks for your time. Your suggestions are really helpful for me. Please let me explain about our volunteer programme.

Our organization usually recruite new volunteers for different areas (Health project, education, social welfare, fun raising, so on.....)for every three months. Some volunteer keep on joining after three months though. Some does three months exactly. Some never turned up since they signed up then. They are not serious on their volunteer work. I think it's because of we don't have any job description for them. That's why I decided to create it.

There is few doctor in health project. We need more.

If this is not what you want, please explain further. **For this sentence, I want to let them know that they can choose three days in a week they comfort to come and we'll consider these days are fixed on the schedule after they chose. **Can i write; "The hours of the volunteer service can be chosen by the physician in discussion with volunteer co-ordinator."

Hi Chef,

You might consider this sentence:

"The exact hours and days of service will be determined after discussion and accord between the physician and the co-ordinator of volunteers. Once agreed upon, the days and times will be considered as permanent on the schedule. Should any change occur, it would be the responsibility of the volunteer physician to assure that his agreed hours and times of service will be covered by another physician."

Please send me a copy of the final version of your announcement/letter just to make certain that the document flows correctly and is not redundant. I will be happy to take a look at it.

The only correction I have is:

The physician is obliged to inform the volunteer co-ordinator at least two days in advance should there be a change in the schedule. If so, it is the responsibility of the volunteer physician to assure that another physician will cover his agreed hours of service.
