Please help me!

Please help me with this. I want to know where are the mistakes in this reading. Thank you.

I think my new roomate and I have realized our mistakes. Jhon shouldn't have demanded the biggest room in the apartment as soon as he arrived. He ought have spoken to me firts - after all, I've lived here longer that he has. On the other hand, I relly shouldn't shout at him as soon as he asked me. I could have control my temper and just talked to him about the problem first. I felt really bad about that - until invited friends over the night before I had to take a test! Then I got so angry, I couldn't sleep. He might have asks me first!. I ought have said something right away, but I didn't want to yell again. Of course, some of my habits make Reggie mad too. For example, I could've started washing my diches when he moved in, but I just let them pile up in the sink. That was pretty gross - I definitely shouldn't have did that. But should have he dumped all the dirty dishes in my bedroom? He might found a better way to tell me he has annoyed. Last week, he wanted to talk about our problems. As soon as we started, I realized we should have talked much sooner. Things have worked out a lot better since our discussion.

There is a difference between "want" and " would like". If you have a favor to ask of people, use "would like". It is more loite and less demanding.

I would like to know if there are mistakes in this sentence ?

He said "please" and "thank you"! It was polite enough for me. (In general, though, you're right -- "I would like" is more polite than "I want.")

By the way, student21, welcome to English Forums!

I wasn't inferring anything else. That's the point I'd like to suggest.
