Hello!a) Supposing a photographer would like to take pictures and make an exhibition with them at a gallery,but for some reason he didn't. So is it correct to say:                              "If I had taken some pictures, I would have made an exhibition" ? Is it correct to say exhibition?b) In : "Jack will build up a fortune very soon."   Is it really necessary to write the preposition "up"?c) "The traveler traveled from town to town until he run out of money" . Here in spite of the first verb be in the simple past, the latter "run" should take an "s" = runs, shouldn't it?    Please, sorry to resend this post but,  I'm in a hurry to hand in the homework.Thanks,Anon.

And I would like to understand why I have to write run in the simple past tense. The action of traveling from town to town happened (okay it is simple past) but the “meaning” of the verh to run in the end of the sentence is not simple past. It is something like the infinitive without “to”. I don’t know if you got how I am thinking, Please, help me again!

It's not good to say things like
the driver drove
the writer wrote
the runner ran
the traveller travelled

You are talking about two events that happened in the past.
A. He travelled from town to town.
B. He ran out of money.
Event A happened until event B happened..
