Please, help me!

Could you check my sentences, please?

- Mike is a Japanese student who is living with the Rulfs' family in order to improve his German.

- Have you already decided what are you going to do here in Portland?

- Well, I have just sent them an e-mail advising that my mom will pick them up at the airport tonight at 9:30 p.m.

Thanks,

Adrian

Hi, Clive

Thanks for your answers. But, please, tell me why is it wrong to write e.g. : The Andersons' family, the Rulfs' family ,The Thompsons' family (or): The Anderson's family, the Rulf's family, The Thompson's family ?

Thanks again
