Please help me!

I am English teacher in Korea and I'll teach new course, academic writing from net month.
I am having difficulties in finding good references to know different usage on words. Although they agve similar meanings, they are used in different contexts. For example, I want to explan the different usage between valuable and worthy. How can I do this?
